Description
A pair of Axe 266 sticks.
Axe 266 sticks are more agile, faster through water, with improved handle and directional texture on the playing areas for a sure grip on the puck and even better passes than the old version! Additionally all the sticks are now fibre reinforced to prevent breaking – if they do break you are covered with our one year warranty.
Axe 266 Underwater hockey stick is a shorter version of the Axe 278. Smaller size is more suitable for forwards or smaller players. The stick has a fairly slim side profile to enhance skill speed with just enough hook for solid tackles. Slight tapper (from 21-17 mm) keeps it balanced while the center of mass is still forward enough to pack a good punch. Heavy textured surface provides great feel for the puck and superior handling. Forward angle of the playing area and a 9° bevel guarantee easy and reliable passes though a bit shorter from her longer sister. Handle is 105 mm long and slightly raised. Oval shape and a recess for the index finger give good ergonomy, mild texture on the handle provides sure grip while the thumb rests on the heavily textured back blade for that extra grip during hard times. Right handed version available at the moment, left handed coming soon. Price is for a pair of sticks.
Our soft Underwater hockey sticks are built around a tough fibre-composite core which provides stiffness and impact resistance. The majority of the stick consists of cast rubber-like material which provides elasticity, and impact absorption. The sticks are virtually unbreakable with a ridiculous amount of grip on the puck.
